Product Overview
The APS11500 is a two-wire planar Hall-effect sensor IC designed for automotive and industrial safety applications. It features internal diagnostics, ASIL A functional safety compliance, and a current-mode interface with interconnect diagnostics and a Safe State. The device offers user-configurable magnetic switch points, temperature coefficient, hysteresis, and magnetic field response (unipolar or omnipolar). It supports various magnet types and offers selectable output current levels and polarities. Integrated features like overvoltage clamp, reverse-battery diode, and optional bypass capacitor reduce module BOM and assembly costs, enabling PCB-less designs.
