Product Overview

The APS11500 is a two-wire planar Hall-effect sensor IC designed for automotive and industrial safety applications. It features internal diagnostics, ASIL A functional safety compliance, and a current-mode interface with interconnect diagnostics and a Safe State. The device offers user-configurable magnetic switch points, temperature coefficient, hysteresis, and magnetic field sensitivity (unipolar or omnipolar). It supports SmCo, NdFeB, and ferrite magnets, with choices for output current levels and polarity. Integrated features like overvoltage clamp, reverse-battery diode, and optional integrated passive components reduce module BOM and assembly costs, enabling PCB-less designs. The APS11500 is automotive-grade rugged, qualified for AEC-Q100 Grade 0, and operates from 40C to 175C junction temperature.
