The A1230 is a dual-channel, bipolar Hall-effect switch designed for speed and direction signal processing. Its photolithographically aligned Hall elements, spaced 1 mm apart, ensure accurate mechanical location, eliminating manufacturing hurdles in fine-pitch detection. This highly sensitive, temperature-stable device is ideal for ring magnet-based speed and direction systems in harsh automotive and industrial environments. The A1230 features out-of-phase digital outputs that are in quadrature with a proper ring magnet design, enabling easy speed and direction signal processing. Advanced chopper stabilization cancels offsets, providing stable operation across specified temperature and voltage ranges, and achieving industry-leading digital output jitter performance critical for high-performance motor commutation.
