The Allegro A1202 and A1203 Hall-effect bipolar switches are advanced, continuous-time devices designed as replacements and extensions for the popular A3133 and A3132 series. Manufactured using BiCMOS technology, these switches offer fast power-on times and low-noise operation, with enhanced switchpoint accuracy achieved through post-packaging programming to minimize induced offsets. Their integrated design includes a voltage regulator, Hall-voltage generator, amplifier, Schmitt trigger, and NMOS output transistor, enabling operation from 3.8 to 24 V and a 30 V absolute maximum voltage rating for robust protection in automotive and motor commutation applications without external components. These devices are available in ultrasmall packages, including SOT23W (LH) and a three-lead SIP (UA), both featuring lead-free, matte-tin-plated leadframes.
