Product Overview
The ATS16351 is a True Power-On State (TPOS) GMR camshaft speed sensor IC designed for automotive applications. It integrates a back-biasing magnet, a fully synchronous digital IC, and an EMC protection circuit into a single sensing solution. Featuring a GMR bridge with an optimized magnetic circuit, it accurately detects ferromagnetic target profiles. The sensor offers zero-speed performance independent of air gap, True target state recognition at power-on (TPOS), and self-calibration capabilities to learn and optimize installation air gaps. It is available in a lead (Pb) free, 3-pin SM package with 100% NiPdAu plating, and provides flexible orientation and stray field immunity, making it backward compatible with Allegros Hall-effect solutions.
