Product Overview

The A17502 is a single IC solution for rotational position sensing of ring magnet targets, ideal for automotive and industrial electric motor applications, particularly xEV asynchronous motors with narrow pitch targets. It features three Hall elements creating two independent differential channels, processed by digital circuits and algorithms to eliminate offsets and false output transitions. The A17502 provides highly accurate speed and direction information, with advanced calibration for precise switch points over varying air gap, speed, and temperature. It offers high configurability for dual-phase speed and position, or high-resolution speed and direction data. The IC supports Fault Detection mode for ASIL B(D) utilization (assessment pending) and is available in a lead-free 4-pin SIP package (K suffix).
