Product Overview

The APS12625 and APS12626 are dual ultrasensitive Hall-effect latches designed for applications requiring precise speed and direction sensing. Featuring integrated vertical and planar Hall elements, these devices offer inherent 90 phase separation, eliminating the need for target optimization and providing flexibility in magnet pole spacing and air gap adjustments. They support various orientation options (XY, ZX, ZY) for versatile integration. The APS12625 provides Speed and Direction outputs, while the APS12626 offers Quadrature outputs (Channel A/B). A unique power-cycling restoration feature (-P option) minimizes lost counts/pulses. These sensors are ISO 26262 / ASIL A compliant, operate from 2.8 to 5.5 V, and are automotive-grade qualified to AEC-Q100 with operation up to 175C junction temperature. They are ideal for automotive applications like power steering and motor control, as well as industrial motors and encoders.
