Product Overview

The ALS31300 is a three-axis linear Hall-effect sensor IC that provides a 12-bit digital value proportional to the magnetic field along the X, Y, and Z axes. It is preconfigured for 3D sensing applications including head-on linear motion, slide-by position sensing, and rotation angle measurements. The device also features a joystick mode with a low-gain option for the Z-axis, enabling the use of back-bias magnets for return-to-zero force. With its advanced low-power management, including a sleep mode consuming only 14 nA typical, it is ideal for portable, battery-operated applications. The ALS31300 offers flexible I2C addressing and is supplied in a compact 3 mm x 3 mm x 0.8 mm DFN package.
