The A139x family of linear Hall effect sensor integrated circuits (ICs) offers a voltage output proportional to an applied magnetic field. Designed for battery-operated applications, these sensors minimize current consumption to less than 25 A through a user-selectable sleep mode, making them ideal for devices like cellular phones, digital cameras, and portable tools. They feature a high-impedance output during sleep mode, enabling multiple sensors to connect to a single A-to-D converter. The devices provide temperature-stable quiescent output voltage and sensitivity, operating within a wide ambient temperature range of 20C to 85C.
