Product Overview

The Allegro ACS70310/1 is a highly precise, programmable linear Hall-effect sensor IC designed for core-based current sensing applications. It integrates a Hall element with BiCMOS circuitry for a fully monolithic solution, offering an analog voltage output proportional to magnetic flux density. With factory-programmed temperature compensation, it achieves 1% sensitivity error and 5 mV offset error from -40C to 150C. The ACS70311 variant adds undervoltage detection (UVD) and low-voltage programming capabilities. These sensors are ideal for high-frequency automotive inverters and DC/DC converters due to their fast response time (2 s) and high operating bandwidth (DC to 240 kHz). They feature on-board supply regulation with reverse-battery protection, providing high immunity to electrical overstress (EOS) and surviving supply voltages of 18 V.
