Product Overview

The Allegro ACS732 and ACS733 are next-generation, high-bandwidth Hall-effect current sensor ICs designed for accurate measurement of high-frequency currents in applications such as DC/DC converters and switching power supplies. These devices offer high isolation, user-configurable overcurrent fault detection, and a low 1 m primary conductor resistance for minimal power loss. Their compact, wide-body SOIC-16 package facilitates easy integration into automotive, industrial, commercial, and communications systems. Applications include motor control, load detection and management, switch-mode power supplies, and overcurrent fault protection. The sensors provide a proportional analog voltage output for both AC and DC currents, with factory-trimmed sensitivity and quiescent voltage for enhanced accuracy and nearly zero magnetic hysteresis.
