Product Overview

The Allegro ACS70310/1 is a fully monolithic linear current sensor IC incorporating a Hall element and BiCMOS integrated circuitry. It is designed for highly accurate current sensing when used with a ferromagnetic core. The IC is sensitive to magnetic flux density orthogonal to its package surface, providing an analog voltage output proportional to the applied flux density. Factory-programmed segmented linear temperature compensation ensures ultralow thermal drift with 1% sensitivity error and 5 mV offset error from 25C to 150C. Key features include on-board supply regulation with reverse-battery protection, very fast response time (2 s), and a high operating bandwidth (DC to 240 kHz). The ACS70311 variant adds undervoltage detection (UVD) and low-voltage programming capabilities. These sensors are AEC-Q100 Grade 0 automotive qualified and offer customer-programmable offset and sensitivity for enhanced accuracy. They are ideal for high-frequency automotive inverters and DC/DC converters.
