Product Overview
The Allegro A1363 is a programmable linear Hall-effect current sensor IC engineered for high accuracy and resolution without sacrificing bandwidth. It features proprietary linearly interpolated temperature compensation technology, programmed at the factory, ensuring virtually flat sensitivity and offset across its operating temperature range. With a 120 kHz bandwidth, it is ideal for demanding applications such as HEV inverters, DC-to-DC converters, and electric power steering (EPS). This ratiometric sensor IC offers a voltage output proportional to the magnetic field and allows user configuration of sensitivity and quiescent output voltage for optimized end-application performance. It boasts an extremely low noise floor and high resolution, achieved through advanced Hall element and amplifier circuits, along with proprietary packaging and chopper stabilization techniques. Additional features include broken ground wire detection, undervoltage lockout, and selectable output voltage clamps for enhanced reliability in automotive environments. The device operates across an extended ambient temperature range of 40C to 150C and is housed in an ultra-thin, 4-pin SIP package.
