The Allegro ACS37612 is a coreless, high-precision Hall-effect current sensor IC designed for low-cost AC and DC current sensing in applications handling hundreds of amps. It eliminates the need for external field concentrator cores or shields, sensing current flowing through a busbar or PCB trace. The differential sensing topology ensures high accuracy by rejecting common-mode stray magnetic fields. With high isolation achieved through its contactless nature, the ACS37612 offers bandwidth options of 120 kHz and 240 kHz, making it ideal for demanding applications like inverter phase current sensing, load detection, power supplies, and DC/DC converters.
