The Allegro ACS781xLR is a fully integrated, automotive-grade linear Hall-effect-based current sensor IC designed for high-precision AC and DC current sensing up to 100 A. It features a core-less, low-profile package with a very small footprint, ideal for space-constrained applications. The sensor utilizes Hall sensor technology with common-mode field rejection for optimal performance in the presence of interfering magnetic fields. It offers ultra-low power loss due to its 200 internal conductor resistance and provides an analog output voltage (VOUT) that varies linearly with the primary current (IP). The device is factory-trimmed for accuracy and compensated for temperature variations, ensuring stable performance across its operating temperature range. Its integrated shield technology provides high-level immunity to dV/dt and stray electric fields, making it suitable for high-side, high-voltage applications.
