The Allegro ACS756 family of Hall Effect-based linear current sensor ICs offers economical and precise AC or DC current sensing solutions for industrial, automotive, commercial, and communication systems. These fully integrated devices feature 3 kVRMS voltage isolation and a low-resistance current conductor, enabling easy implementation and providing solutions for motor control, load detection, power supplies, and overcurrent fault protection. The IC converts the magnetic field generated by current flowing through its integrated copper conductor into a proportional voltage, offering industry-leading noise performance, low power loss, and factory-trimmed accuracy.
