Product Overview
The Allegro ACS725 is an economical and precise automotive-grade current sensor IC designed for AC or DC current sensing in industrial, automotive, commercial, and communications systems. Its small, low-profile SOIC8 package is ideal for space-constrained applications, reducing board area and costs. The device features differential Hall sensing to reject common-mode fields, improving accuracy in noisy environments. With a low internal resistance of 1.2 m, it offers low power loss and high inrush current capability. The ACS725 provides a high-bandwidth analog output proportional to the sensed current, with a filter pin for user-selectable bandwidth limiting. It is AEC-Q100 qualified and offers galvanic isolation.
