Product Overview
The Allegro ACS70310/1 is a highly precise, programmable linear Hall-effect current sensor IC designed for core-based current sensing applications. It integrates a Hall element with BiCMOS circuitry, offering an analog voltage output proportional to the applied magnetic flux density. The ACS70311 variant includes undervoltage detection (UVD) and low-voltage programming capabilities. These sensors are engineered for high-frequency automotive applications such as inverters and DC/DC converters, providing fast response times (2 s) and a wide operating bandwidth (DC to 240 kHz). Key features include factory-programmed temperature compensation for 1% sensitivity error and 5 mV offset error, on-board supply regulation with reverse-battery protection for enhanced Electrical Overstress (EOS) immunity, and customer-programmable offset and sensitivity for superior accuracy. The devices are AEC-Q100 Grade 0 automotive qualified and available in thin, lead-free SIP packages.
