Product Overview
The Allegro CT220 is a high-linearity, high-resolution contactless current sensor utilizing XtremeSense TMR technology. It accurately measures magnetic fields generated by current flow through busbars or PCB traces, converting them into an analog voltage output. Designed for applications requiring inherent high isolation and product safety compliance due to high operating voltages, the CT220 offers a typical total output error of 0.5% and can sense currents as low as 5 mA. It supports a wide operating voltage range of 2.7 to 5.5 V and features a FLAG output that signals when current exceeds 90% or falls below 10% of the full field range. Available in a compact 5-lead SOT23 package, the CT220 is ideal for motor control, solar inverters, power distribution units, UPS, SMPS, telecom power supplies, smart appliances, IoT devices, battery management systems, and PC/server applications.
