Product Overview
The Allegro ACS72981 family of current sensor ICs offers economical and precise solutions for bidirectional AC or DC current sensing. With a 250 kHz bandwidth and a <2 s response time, these sensors are ideal for motor control, load detection and management, power supply and DC-to-DC converter control, and inverter control. They are designed for safety-critical applications requiring overcurrent fault detection. The ACS72981xLR utilizes a precision, low-offset linear Hall circuit with a proprietary digital temperature compensation technology to ensure accuracy over temperature and lifetime. The device features a typical internal resistance of 200 , minimizing power loss and maximizing power density.
