Allegro ACS772 Current Sensor IC
The Allegro ACS772 family of current sensor ICs offers economical and precise solutions for AC or DC current sensing. Designed for applications such as motor control, load detection and management, power supply and DC-to-DC converter control, and inverter control, these sensors provide a linear analog output voltage (VOUT) proportional to the primary sensed current (IP). The integrated 100 current conductor ensures ultra-low power loss. With a typical response time of 2.5 s, the ACS772 is ideal for overcurrent fault detection in safety-critical applications. Its Hall-effect-based design, combined with proprietary digital temperature compensation and integrated shield technology, delivers high accuracy, excellent temperature stability, and robust immunity to dV/dt and stray electric fields, making it suitable for high-side, high-voltage applications.
