Product Overview

The Allegro ACS773 family of current sensor ICs offers economical and precise AC or DC current sensing solutions. Ideal for motor control, load detection and management, power supply and DC-to-DC converter control, and inverter control, these devices feature a 2.5 s response time for critical overcurrent fault detection. They utilize a precision, low-offset linear Hall circuit with a low-resistance (100 typical) copper conduction path. Proprietary digital temperature compensation and integrated shield technology enhance accuracy, temperature stability, and immunity to dV/dt and stray electric fields, making them suitable for high-side, high-voltage applications. The ACS773 provides reinforced galvanic isolation with 4800 Vrms dielectric strength, eliminating the need for opto-isolators.
