The Allegro ACS71240 is an economical and precise automotive-grade current sensor IC designed for AC or DC current sensing in industrial, automotive, commercial, and communications applications. It features a low-offset linear Hall sensor with an integrated copper conduction path, offering low power loss and high efficiency. The device provides high accuracy in noisy environments through differential sensing and includes an integrated fault comparator for overcurrent detection with ultrafast response times. Available in small, low-profile surface-mount packages (QFN-12 and SOIC-8), the ACS71240 offers galvanic isolation and common-mode field rejection.
