Product Overview
The Allegro ACS773 family of current sensor ICs offers economical and precise solutions for AC or DC current sensing. Ideal for motor control, load detection and management, power supply and DC-to-DC converter control, and inverter control, these sensors feature a 2.5 s response time for overcurrent fault detection in safety-critical applications. They utilize a precision, low-offset linear Hall circuit with a copper conduction path, generating a voltage proportional to the primary current. The devices boast proprietary digital temperature compensation for improved accuracy and temperature stability, and integrated shield technology for high-level immunity to dV/dt and stray electric fields in high-voltage applications. Reinforced galvanic isolation is provided, eliminating the need for opto-isolators.
