The Allegro ACS725KMA is a highly accurate, Hall-effect-based current sensor IC designed for AC or DC current sensing in industrial, commercial, and communication systems. Its economical and precise nature, combined with a space-saving SOIC16 package, makes it ideal for cost-sensitive and compact applications. The sensor features differential Hall sensing for common-mode field rejection, patented digital temperature compensation for exceptional accuracy over temperature, and a low-resistance primary conductor for minimal power loss. With high isolation capabilities and a ratiometric analog output proportional to the sensed current, it is well-suited for applications like motor control, load detection, switched-mode power supplies, and overcurrent fault protection.
