Product Overview
The Allegro ACS780xLR is a fully integrated, automotive-grade linear Hall-effect current sensor IC designed for bidirectional AC and DC current sensing up to 100 A. It features a core-less, low-profile package with a small footprint and 200 internal conductor resistance for ultra-low power loss. The device offers high-precision measurements with factory programming for sensitivity and quiescent output voltage, enhanced by chopper-stabilized signal paths and digital temperature compensation. Its integrated shield technology provides high-level immunity to current conductor dV/dt and stray electric fields, making it ideal for high-side, high-voltage applications. The sensor outputs an analog voltage (VOUT) that varies linearly with the primary current (IP) and incorporates common-mode field rejection for optimal performance in the presence of interfering magnetic fields.
